During my recent business trip to Grunau, my director chose the White House Guest Farm Villa as our accommodation. We had a fantastic day trip exploring the nearby attractions, immersing ourselves in the local culture. After a long day, we could relax in the serene and peaceful farm environment. The farm pool provided a refreshing escape from the warm weather, allowing us to unwind and rejuvenate.
Nothing to be said.

The accommodation was cozy and clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The farm-fresh meals were absolutely delicious, with a variety of options available for our vegetarian family. The staff's top-notch service made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. The kids enjoyed exploring the well-maintained grounds and even had a close encounter with the farm's adorable cattle. We highly recommend this hidden gem and can't wait to return for another memorable stay.
For dads, it would be great to have some more outdoor activities for the kids.

The views were breathtaking, with serene surroundings that made us feel close to nature. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met. The farm dinner was not only delicious but also served in generous portions. It was convenient to have beer and wine in the fridge with an honor system for payment. Plus, the special touches in the unit made us feel at home right away.
The WiFi was quite weak, which is understandable given the remote Namibian location. However, it would be more convenient if it had better connectivity.

The chalets and rooms at White House Guest Farm are absolutely charming. They have a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The fully equipped kitchenette in each chalet is a lifesaver for budget-conscious travelers like us. It allowed us to cook our own meals and save money on eating out. The well-stocked fridge with cold beer, wine, soft drinks, and water in each chalet was a delightful surprise. It made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The private barbeque area provided a lovely space for us to enjoy a delicious grilled meal under the African sky. It was a wonderful way to unwind and connect with nature. The en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and wash basin in every chalet was clean and well-maintained. It provided all the necessary amenities for our comfort.
Personally, I found the budget accommodation tents to be a bit basic for my taste. However, I understand that some travelers might prefer them for the authentic camping experience.

I had an absolute fantastic stay at White House Guest Farm! From the moment I arrived, I felt the warm-heartedness of the countryside of Namibia. The vintage house I stayed in was charming and filled with character, with pictures of the owners spanning generations. The host even upgraded one of our rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. The meals provided were delicious and plentiful, and we even had enough to take away for our next trip. The hosts were incredibly gracious and made us feel right at home. I couldn't resist buying all their delicious cookies. This was my first experience staying on a farm, and it truly felt magical. Despite the short stay, I fell in love with the place and would definitely return if I visit Namibia again. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the countryside.

The meals at White House Guest Farm were absolutely divine, transporting me back to the nostalgic Sunday lunches with grandma. The wide-open spaces, tranquil atmosphere, and breathtaking starry nights added to the unforgettable experience.
The only downside was that I couldn't stay and indulge in those mouth-watering meals forever.
